Hypnosis
Working with the subconscious mind to support positive change.
Understanding Hypnosis
Hypnosis is a guided process that allows access to deeper levels of the mind where many beliefs, habits and emotional responses are formed. In a relaxed and focused state, the subconscious mind becomes more open to positive suggestions and new ways of thinking, allowing limiting patterns to be replaced with more supportive beliefs. Through hypnosis sessions, clients can work on changing limiting patterns, reinforcing positive beliefs and supporting behavioural change.
Despite common misconceptions, hypnosis is not about losing control. It is a natural state of focused attention similar to the moments just before sleep or when you are deeply absorbed in a task.
During hypnosis, you remain aware and in control, while your mind becomes more receptive to positive change.
How Hypnosis Can Help
Hypnosis can support change in areas such as:
- confidence and self-belief
- breaking unwanted habits
- reducing stress and anxiety
- reinforcing positive behaviours
- improving focus and motivation
Hypnosis is often used as part of the Personal Breakthrough process, but it can also be used as a standalone technique depending on the client’s goals.

~ Milton Erickson
