Meet Lisa Emmett
Lisa Emmett’s work as a coach is rooted in her own personal journey of transformation.
After experiencing the powerful impact of personal breakthrough work in her own life, Lisa was inspired to help others experience the same sense of empowerment, clarity and emotional freedom. Today, through A First Step, she works with individuals who are ready to move beyond limiting patterns and create meaningful change in their lives.
Qualifications and Modalities
Lisa is trained and certified in several transformational coaching modalities, including:
- Certified Trainer of NLP
- Master NLP Life Coach
- Time Line Therapy® Practitioner
- Hypnotherapist
- Family Constellation Facilitator
By combining these approaches, Lisa is able to work with both the conscious and unconscious aspects of behaviour, helping clients release emotional blocks while developing practical tools for long-term change.
A Judgement-Free Space for Growth
One of the most important elements of Lisa’s work is creating an environment where clients feel safe to explore their experiences without judgement.
Many people carry emotional patterns, beliefs or reactions that they struggle to understand. These patterns are often developed earlier in life as coping mechanisms, and now they may no longer serve the person, and who they wish to become.
Lisa’s role is not to tell clients what to do or who they should be. Instead, she helps individuals gain deeper awareness of their own patterns and reconnect with their inner wisdom, allowing them to make conscious choices about how they want to move forward.

A core belief behind A First Step is that true transformation happens when people realise, they already have the ability to change. Once releasing negative emotions and limiting beliefs they are able to change the way they look at things and in turn the things they look at change.
Rather than creating long-term reliance on coaching, Lisa focuses on empowering her clients with tools and understanding that allow them to take control of their own lives.

Inspired by Real Transformation
The inspiration behind A First Step came from Lisa’s own experience of personal breakthrough work. After seeing how effective these processes were in helping her release limiting beliefs and emotional patterns, she knew she wanted to help others access the same transformation.
She believes that when people unlock the right tools, understanding and support, they can see the potential they may not even realise they have.
